Great little B&B, conveniently located in a beautiful, peaceful spot close to Carmarthen.

Such a wonderful stay in South Wales! Martin was an excellent host and made sure our stay was warm and welcoming. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and was stocked with tea, hot chocolate, coffee, and biscuits. The bathroom was very nice and clean, and clearly well taken care of. Breakfast was lovely and featured numerous healthy options, all cooked to order. We stayed during a rainy week so we were unable to explore the grounds, but the family had an active bird feeder that we enjoyed viewing while eating in the morning. The B&B is only about a 10 minute drive from Carmarthen and is surrounded by various historical and natural attractions.

Two of us used this bed and breakfast for a groundhopping weekend in West Wales. Good value, clean and a good hearty breakfast. Would recommend to friends and family.

We stayed for three nights.Welcomed by our host who showed us our en suite rooms, the dining room, conservatory, patio with outdoor seating, plus the hillside grounds with the most spectacular views .Overlooking hills and a river. Very clean rooms , plenty of storage with thoughtful touches such as cotton buds,the provision of shampoo, and soap in the shower. Plus, a kettle with a variety of hot drinks available and biscuits. In the dining room, there is a fridge with a selection of chocolate bars if you wished to purchase . Excellent choice of breakfast foods. Everything is well organised in a very friendly and welcoming home. Situated close to the Botanic Gardens of Wales. Close to Carmathan and plenty of pubs in the area for evening meals.

Excellent facilities. Room and additional sitting space in a conservatory and large lawned garden. Bedroom airy, clean and tidy. On suite shower room and toilet with soap, body wash and shampoo. Towels white and fluffy. Lovely large and tasty breakfast, with plenty of courses and plenty of choices. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I had a superb stay at Bryn Hebog. The location is rural and easy to find within a short distance of local amenities and tourist destinations. The room was impeccably clean and well stocked with tea, coffee and biscuits. The B&B has a lovely garden and a meadow we didn't walk up because we were busy on our sightseeing trip. The breakfast selection is generous and the homemade jam was delicious.

Had a great stay at Bryn Hebog while exploring the local beautiful country side and seaside beach on the Towy Estuary. Room was immaculate and very comfortable with quality bedding and towels, toiletries etc. Breakfast was super too - freshly cooked to order by host Martin. An extremely friendly establishment that you could not fault and we would return in a heartbeat. BTW it was great value too.

Lovely B&B for a stress free break. Great customer service from Martin, lovely breakfast and a nice room. Indoor and out door seating area. Ideal base for all the Carmarthenshire site seeing. Highly recommended

Great place to stay, Martin was a great host and made a wonderful breakfast. Tucked away and quiet place. Comfortable and clean room with a large bathroom. Breakfast was easy to order with a QR code and Martin even nice enough to accommodate breakfast for me after I had forgotten to place an order the night before. Great views from the window. Didn't get a chance to wander the grounds but was welcome to it. It's a little bit out of town but it's only a 10-15 minute drive into town.

Had two stays at Shakeshaft now - both were lovely in spite of the rain! Beautiful gardens - at least from the windows as it was too wet to explore. Friendly and welcoming hosts, lovely breakfast after a good night in a very comfortable room with the birds in the trees being a great alarm clock. A real country retreat!
