What a stunning place. We stayed in The Cow Shed for new years for 3 nights. Everything was there that we needed - Dishwasher Cooker, Microwave, Washing machine, Kettle, Toaster, Plates, Glasses, Cutlery, Saucepans, Utensils. COFFEE MACHINE! Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Salt and Pepper, Cooking Oil, The list goes on.. Lets just say I over packed! It was lovely and clean and cosy! The log burner on in the evenings was blissfull along with the surround sound on the TV for films! My 3 girls absolutely loved every minute too! Even the dog! The walks around the lakes were absolutely beautiful. My partner enjoyed fishing where he set up on peg 5 on luxe 1 which is all inclusive with the booking! Would highly recommend staying here we had a blast and cannot wait to go back in the summer!

Myself and my husband stayed in the cow shed for the weekend in November. What a lovely place and was far from staying in a cow shed. Although the weather was awful. We were cosy and warm in the beautiful 2 bedroomed cottage. Everything we needed was catered for, including logs for the log burner, netflix on the tv and even umberellas which we did use because of the dreadful weather. Pub a very short walk away and the nearest town was a short drive. We loved it that much we have booked again.

Wow, This place is absolutely stunning! Just got back from a long weekend with my family. The setting is beautiful, the cottage (Cow she) is like a little piece of heaven, tranquil setting next to a fantastic Carp specimen lake. I fished during the day and my son and his mate fished from the Fly Lodge, which is equally as impressive as the cow shed. The fish are immaculate and going to go very big - a fishery to keep an eye on and be part of their journey. Already booked to take the family again - can’t wait!

Fist time for us at Luxe Lakes - so glad we gave it a go. Beautiful setting, lovely lakes and beautiful fish. We did a ‘lake exclusive’ on the smaller of the two lakes. Good points of interest to fish to, with nice wide swims that are very well kept (there are two double swims, each easily big enough for two bivvys). Good toilet and shower facilities that are very clean and modern fixtures/fittings. Communication in advance was good with everything very clear on details of arrival and equipment on site etc… A pub/restaurant just around the corner, and Just Eat available (at least for an Indian take away). The new owners obviously have a vision for the place and having seen the barn and lodges on site it’ll be exciting to see what else they have in store!

Fished here a few times now and not only is it a fantastic fishery now but the potential is incredible. The fish are immaculate, the pegs are great with every peg having features to fish too and plenty of water to go at. I did a week with a friend and had 26 fish between us. The facilities are everything you need even for a week’s fishing trip and the Fly Lodge and especially the house you can rent is top top accommodation. Double pegs available on both lakes.

I’ve just spent 4 days here with 3 friends, and we all had an absolutely fantastic experience. The venue is everything you could possibly ask for and more. From the owner to Belief and everyone else involved, the place is run brilliantly. The fish are incredible, and the people who help run the complex are a great bunch. We’ll 100% be back. Huge thanks to everyone for the amazing job you’re doing with this place!

Very good lake for fishing

I recently visited Luxe Lakes with my 9-year-old grandson, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The lakes are stunning, and the fish are not only plentiful but also absolutely huge and in amazing condition. From the moment we arrived, we were given such a warm and friendly welcome by Jon, the bailiff—it really made us feel at home. Everything was perfect: the swims are huge, well-kept, and so easily accessible. Having our bait waiting for us on the swim when we arrived was such a brilliant touch and made settling in so easy. The quality of the landing mats, cradles, and nets provided is top-notch, showing the real care taken for both anglers and fish welfare. A special mention to Nick, who works there as well—when my grandson broke his rod, Nick kindly came over and lent him one of his own so he wouldn’t miss out on fishing with two rods. This generous gesture meant the world to my grandson and made his trip extra special. It was such a memorable experience sharing this with him at his young age, and he absolutely loved every moment. It’s clear that so much effort goes into maintaining the lakes and looking after visitors. I would highly recommend Luxe Lakes to anyone looking for a top-quality fishing trip. We’ll definitely be back!
